Newfoundland - What A Time B'y!

So Newfoundland...wow...just wow! My first tour of this amazing province from May 18-29 was an absolutely fantastic experience! As they say on the rock 'I was right off me head!' Folks from one end of the island to the other were so very friendly (no surprise there!) and I had some wonderful shows filled with music, fun and new friends! In Lewisporte I played at the lovely and unique Citadel House owned by Dean and Stevie Stairs and had the chance on a second day there to conduct a songwriting workshop for many of the young artists with whom they work...marvelous developing talent! In St. John's I had a wicked great time playing with awesome R&B artist, producer and my good buddy Chris Kirby downtown at The Black Sheep Pub. And I played some mighty fun house concerts in Mt. Pearl and Pasadena with the powerful-good Karla Pilgrim of The Secrets. And you don't come to Newfoundland without making some time to take in some of the eye-popping scenery, so on off-days I made a run to Cape Spear, saw the incredulous mountains of Gros Morne National Park, and spent a day iceberg hunting...brrr! All in all it was a tremendous experience and I honestly just can't wait to come back! Thanks SO much to my dear Newfoundland friends for helping to make this tour a great success!
