East Coast Music Week 2017!

Wow, what an incredible time we had over the last few days right here my hometown of Saint John, New Brunswick Canada with East Coast Music Week 2017...the first time it has been held here in Saint John in 15 years! And what a time we had! The old hometown really came through and impressed all who came, from artists to buyer delegates to music lovers...the organizing team did a fantastic job and the streets were absolutely buzzing with enthusiasm and great music! I was so proud!

I played a few showcases including one with the band (pictured above), and I was flattered to be asked to host a showcase evening of Saint John NB artists that was live streamed across 'Radio ECMA' through the Bell TV1 internet service. The awards gala held at Harbour Station was a total success with loads of marvelous performances. I had a bunch of greatly productive business meetings and of course there was a fair bit of revelry with lots of artist friends...to say the least!

Thanks to all the East Coast Music Association staff, the Saint John local organizing committee, and the many volunteers who all worked so hard to be supportive of the special music and culture we enjoy here on the East Coast. Halifax next year for ECMA's 30th birthday! :-)
