2017 Mike Biggar Acoustic Christmas Tour!
It's the most wonderful time of the year...well, almost! Christmas is that one time of the year where people seem to truly love traditions...the same decorations, the same ugly Christmas sweaters, the same recipes. Well, I guess I am guilty of the same pattern, because one of my favourite experiences year after year is my Christmas tour based on the music of my holiday album THE SEASON. I have always loved performing around the East Coast each holiday season in one form or another since it's release in 2011, and THIS Christmastide I am so excited brings my acoustic Christmas music tour to Ontario audiences for the first time! And we even have one Quebec date to boot! I say 'we' because I am also bringing along a music friend, a great performer in his own right Sandy MacKay will join me on the road, adding wonderful musical character to the holiday music on stage...and being great company in the car...and you have no idea what a welcome treat that will be! And for a couple of my New Brunswick shows there is as a special holiday treat as I am joined by a featured special guest...the enrapturing, award-winning Jessica Rhaye ! Jessica will join me along with Sandy MacKay and my usual musical compadre Grant Heckman at Shepody House in Dorchester Crossing on Friday Dec. 8 and then again at Elmhurst Outdoors on the lovely Kingston Peninsula on Dec. 10 for a matinee show.
