NOMINATED - 2018 East Coast Music Award!
Well this chased away any February blahs in my life! Last week the
much-awaited nominations for the 2018 East Coast Music Awards were announced in Halifax. There are so many marvelous fellow artists nominated across a plethora of musical styles. And I was absolutely delighted to discover I am nominated for the 2018 EAST COAST MUSIC AWARD for 'BLUES RECORDING OF THE YEAR' for my latest album GO ALL IN that was released last year! I am so flattered and quite proud to sit among many other incredible artists such as the iconic Matt Minglewood and amazing up-and-comers Earle & Coffin. Being recognized by our regional music association is such an uplifting thing and I am so grateful to all the friends and fans who support my music. There are also so many folks across the country and beyond who work to give support to my music - from my record label Busted Flat Records, Sarah French Publicity, Blues and Roots Radio in Toronto (and around the world!), radio stations from coast to coast and beyond, my band, festivals and venues...thank you ALL for your continued interest and support in the music I create. The awards will be presented at the 30th Annual East Coast Music Week in Halifax between May 2 and May 6, so stay tuned!
